Abstract

This article is going to fix the pressing problem of double voting in Hong Kong district election and the identity theft. Meanwhile, to align with the sustainable development goals (SDGs) 11 (sustainable cities and communities) and 15 (life of land).

To address the issues mentioned, a comprehensive identification blockchain system for voters is proposed in the proposal. Also, the potential risks of the system are evaluated in the report. Therefore, this proposal suggested success elements to secure the process of voting in district election. We hope to boost the trust from Hong Kong citizens in the blockchain voting system by lower the concerns about data privacy, cybersecurity, and inclusivity. In lining with SDG 11, our strategy promotes sustainable cities and communities through improving election openness. In keeping with SDG 15, we acknowledge the importance of sustaining life on land by reducing use of paper in elections.
